Tuition Fees and Loans
Westerton School Direct Initial Teacher Training (ITT) tuition fees are £9000 for 2016/17. The fees for 2017/18 may rise with inflation. You will not have to pay these tuition fees upfront. Eligible UK and EU students can apply for a tuition fee loan, to cover the cost of the tuition fees, from the government.

Training bursaries are available for eligible UK and EU students during School Direct courses that start on or after 1st September 2017. ITT bursaries are provided by the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL).
The bursaries are given to UK and EU students only and depend on which ITT course subject you are studying and the degree you currently hold.
Bursaries of £3000 are available for trainees studying a Primary School Direct course. To be eligible, the trainees need to have a 1st or PHD.
